The Mokie Lake House client has a lake home on beautiful Tablerock Lake in southern Missouri. The owners’ hearts belong in both states of Missouri and Oklahoma, where their primary residence is. They call this lake house project the “Mokie House” because when you push Missouri (MO) and Oklahoma (Okie) together, you get Mokie.

This project began during the COVID-era (2020) and was a complete gut job. The home had been sitting vacant for nearly two decades and needed a lot of love. Sugarcube Designs took this personal project from the ground up. It included being gutted to the studs.
